One very special baby quilt to be made

This post has been long coming and perhaps should have been posted before now - even if it were just an excuse to why my blog entries have been so long and far in between....actually that's just my laziness and got nothing to do with it!

So I have a little bun in the oven, who I fear is not going to be very little and take after his dad and tickle the 10 lb scale. He's due May 22nd and yes we did find out the gender...I'm not just guessing :)

Here he is at 13 weeks + 1day
 High five!
 And stretch that leg......

So time to start thinking up some crafty ideas for my little man. I quite fancy making an alphabet sampler wall hanging, and perhaps a warm blanket for the buggy, how about some hand made bibs and a nursing cover for me. I couldn't resist buying some gorgeous fabric on sale from Fat Quarter Shop which I hope is winging its way to me now.....boys, puppies and footballs ...... perfect :)

Meanwhile I'm getting fat ..... and I love it!

My lovely friend Lynn sent me a pressie from her business Little Moon, it's a Mexican Bola pendant, which lies on a long cord allowing it to rest on your bump. As you move the pendant chimes and soothes baby.

Here's my bump modelling the pendant.
