Bump-o-saurus - UPDATE!

Project 3; Baby Quilt for Adam and Cora's bump

The pattern has been pretty easy to put together and the seam allowance (1/4 inch) with block sizes works well. Smaller block are 2 1/2, larger blocks are 4 1/2. Conviently the smaller block were from pre-cut moda squares which are 5 inch exactly so makes for easy cutting to produce 4 smaller squares each. I sewed 4 smaller blocks (2 dark blue spots, 1 yellow spots, 1 blue alphabet) into a composite block before attaching to a dino block. Then the dino+composite was joined to another and again until the full quilt front was formed.

I am now definitely going to change the backing material I was orginally going to use. There are two other pieces and I think the blue/yellow/green stripes are the best fit. So next quilt backing-wadding-front. Nice work :)

Had a mini shopping spree in Wilkos Saturday, 'Hey big spender'. Found these and just could not resist. How cute? Monkey might be my favourite.
